We are always focused on improving the speed of our platform and have included several major improvements in this release that will make Sighten snappier and easier to use. This release, these improvements include:
- Project changes - when you make changes to your project, updates are made to all existing quotes in parallel to reduce the time to fully update the job and prevent the phases from spinning for extended periods of time.
- Equipment loading speeds - equipment loading speeds on the project design page have been improved do ensure you can quickly design solar projects.
- Pipeline loading & search - an improvement has been released to ensure you can find your jobs as quickly as possible.
- Operations phase - general loading on the operations phase improved.
- Quote data - loading speed of quote data used throughout the entire application, should make loading the quote, proposal and contract phases faster for you!

Notifications
To help you stay on top of the next steps for every job, we have improved our notifications to ensure you receive the most relevant emails.
- Settings - to help you stay on top of the next steps for every job, we have introduced email notification settings where you can opt in or out of specific notifications to ensure you receive only the updates that are relevant to you.
- Assignment - assignment notifications are improved to send only one notification per job, notifying the user of all phases assigned to the user in a single notification.
- Job notes - we have added the job notes directly in the job, accessible through the note icon on the right side navigation. This allows you to easily add and edit job notes as you are working on the job!
Project Design
- Panel Addition using grid - You can now add panels in two ways. The first is free panel addition where you can add panels anywhere you want on the roof. In addition to this we have added the option to add panels using a grid outline of panels adjacent to the current modules in the array. This ensures you can simply add modules which are perfectly aligned with the other modules in the array.
Quoting
We have made multiple improvements to the quoting experience, including the inputs to your quotes and the ease of project updates.
- Enter loan amount for loans - We have improved the loan quoting experience by ensuring you can enter the loan amount or the install cost in order to get to homeowner pricing.
- Display default cost on quote phase - we have added the default Install Cost and Install Cost per Watt to Section 3 of the quote solver. This is calculated using your organization settings and sets you up for success to ensure you can quickly create quotes with the desired default install cost.
- Edit $/W cost on battery in cost buildup - you can now edit the $/W value for all batteries using cost buildup for more precise costing.
- Full input products - ability to use cost buildup for all products, including full input products.
- Quote and proposal phases inaccessible (navigation spins continuously) - we have put in several updates to ensure after updating projects the quotes and proposals you have previously created are updated immediately and you are not blocked from accessing the subsequent phases.
