Proposed usage changes can be added to the project to reflect anticipated post-project changes to usage needs, like the special addition of an electric . These options include:
- Electric vehicle (EV)
...
- Pool
- Annual percentage increase (%)
...
- kWh addition
...
Use the "Add Proposed Usage by" drop-down to specify how you would like to include usage changes (Special Additions, Percent Increase, kWh Addition).
If you add a usage change, click Apply to save the selection. Any proposed usage additions that are added will appear in the annual usage and daily usage charts.
Electric Vehicle (EV) Options
Using Sighten, you can wow your customers with EVs by modeling their specific car, driving behavior, and charging patterns. 
Your selection options are:
- Electric Vehicle - choose type
- Charger Type - Level 1 or Level 2
- Miles Driven per Day - input estimated daily mileage
- Start Charging - input time of day charging starts

For special addition usage changes, Electric Vehicles and Pool additions are modeled using the following assumptions: Pools: based on a single speed pump running 24/7. Electric Vehicles: based on evening charging for 1.6 hours. Calculation modeled on a Chevy Bolt using a Level 2 charger special selection options now available so you can modify EV assumptions to fit your customer. |
