Once on the contract phase, adding a quote is needed before proceeding to the next steps.
After adding a quote, the Send E-Sign button should be activated. Here's how it would look on the platform:
Clicking Send E-Sign will send email the contract to the homeowner via DocuSign . Once (note that this depends on how workflows are configured, but the order will be shown on the Recipients table). In the example above, two recipients are required to sign: the homeowner and the Sales Representative.
Note: If multiple recipients (joint signers) are required to sign, each recipient must choose a different DocuSign "signature" or the contract will be rejected.
Once Send E-Sign has been clicked a green pop-up reading "Contract Sent" will appear and the , the contract status will change to Sent for Signatures from Not Started and "Send E-Sign" will change to "Resend E-Sign.":
Resend E-Sign can can be clicked to generate a new contract to be sent to that's emailed to the homeowner via DocuSign. After the contract has been signed by the homeowner and received by DocuSign, the "Resend E-Sign" will change to "Jump to Milestones" and the job moved to the Ops Pipeline.project is then moved into the ops pipeline.
DocuSign Homeowner Identity Verification
A homeowner identity verification step is included in our DocuSign packages. This additional layer of security prevents identity theft and fraud and is an added benefit to homeowners when signing our EverBright agreements.
When a homeowner opens the DocuSign package, they will be asked a series of questions pulled from a LexisNexis knowledge base that only they should be able to answer. If the homeowner answers correctly and passes the authentication, the agreement signing will proceed as normal.
If the homeowner does not pass the authentication questions, they will still be able to sign an EverBright agreement. The failed DocuSign package will be cancelled and a new DocuSign package will be sent to the homeowner. In lieu of the authentication questions, this DocuSign package will include a step requiring the homeowner to upload a copy of their identification for EverBright to review. Note: for privacy reasons, installers will not be able to see the uploaded identification.

What if I the Send E-Sign button is grayed out?
In some cases, a Blocked status appears on the Contract Status. You can click on this Blocked text to know the next best step to take to proceed with sending the contract.
In this case, it states that the contract is Blocked because it contains a quote with expired pricing. The Send E-Sign button will be activated once the issue is fixed.
