Background:

Installers working with channel managers and/or financiers in Sighten EverBright may need to submit milestones for approval as a project moves through the ops pipeline.To submit operations workflow. If a support agent is submitting a milestone for approval on behalf of the installer/Sales Representative, the project must already have a signed contract uploaded to the Sighten platform.they must confirm first that the representative has not been blocked within the system.

  1. Access the following PowerBI Dashboard

  1. On the left-hand side column click on Compliance

  1. Click on “Access Audits (EBI)

  1. Then access the “Sales Rep Access Audit”

  1. Once in there, you will be able to locate the column that says “User is Active Flag”

  • If the status is TRUE:

  •  The agent will be able to send the milestone for approval on behalf of the Installer/Sales Rep

  1. Go to Engine and open the job

  1. After opening the job, click the "operations" icon in the toolbar at the

  1. left of your page.

  1. The workflow will display various milestones (e.g. Sales Requirements) on the left, and each milestone

  1. will have specific tasks that must be completed. A milestone approval request can be sent

  1. by clicking Send For Approval.

A confirmation window will appear with an optional text field to add any notes. Click Send to submit the milestone for approval.

  1. Depending on the task settings, some tasks may need to be completed before the Send For Approval button becomes available.

  1. The milestone status will change to "Pending Primary Approval" underneath the milestone name.

  • If the status is FALSE:

  •  Then it means that the representative has been blocked

  • The agent will NOT send for approval on their behalf and will redirect the Installer/Sales Rep with their Org Administrator

While a milestone is pending review, you cannot edit the content of each task.  You can cancel the submission to update the information.

When the milestone has been approved, the milestone status will update to "Milestone Complete".

Approval or completion of a milestone is not required before a user completes tasks on subsequent milestones in the workflow.
