Installers working with Channel Managers and / or financiers on the Sighten platform may need to submit milestones for approval as the job moves through the operations pipeline.
To submit a milestone for approval, the project must already have a signed contract uploaded to the Sighten platform.
After accessing the job, click the operations icon in the upper right navigation bar.
The operations workflow will be displayed showing the milestones tabs and the tasks for each milestone on the left. A milestone approval request can be sent at any time by clicking Send For Approval.
A confirmation window will appear with an optional free form text field to add any notes. Click Send to send the milestone for approval.
The milestone status will change to Pending Primary Approval.
When the milestone has been approved, the milestone status will update to Milestone Complete.
Note: Approval or completion of a milestone is not required before completing tasks on later milestones.
