Project Phase settings include control of the manufacturers and models of certain types of equipment that are available for projects, as well as the pricing and default selections. To view these, click Project Settings in the left-hand menu.
You can use the tabs to view lists of Solar Modules, Inverters, Storage, or Energy Efficiency products available in your project phase.
In each of the tabs, Organization Admins can Edit, Remove and Add equipment. You can also set one model per equipment category to be the default on all projects in your organization.
Editing Equipment Information:
While viewing the equipment available in your account, if you see a model you want to make changes to, click the pencil icon to the right of the model.
An Edit module will open where you can set the cost, markup, and retail price on either a $ or $/W basis.
Removing Equipment:
To remove an equipment offering from your Project Phase, simply click the X to the right of the piece of equipment you no longer want available. A Remove equipment modal will appear where you can confirm your action.
Adding Equipment:
Any user with Organization Administrator permissions can make new equipment available in their account. Sighten's Database has many models that you can offer, however, if you don't see the module or inverter you're looking for, fear not! You can request that we add new equipment to our database here.
Example: Adding Solar Modules
Click the Add Solar Module button on the top right.
The "Add Existing Solar Modules" modal will appear. Start by typing the manufacturer into the search bar. Note: you can add multiple modules from multiple manufacturers at once by selecting more than one manufacturer in the dropdown.
Then you will see a list of all the modules for the manufacturers you selected that we have in our database. Select the ones you want by clicking the checkboxes on the left.
Once you've selected all the modules you want to offer, click Add.
The adding process for Inverters, Storage, and Energy Efficiency equipment is the same as described above. However, you can add Storage and Energy Efficiency equipment that is not in our database yourself.
Add new batteries that are not yet in the database:
On the Storage tab, click Add Storage button.
If you don't see the battery you're looking for, click the Add new battery link.
A Create New Storage modal will open where you can add the information pertaining to the battery you want to offer.
Note: Adding new Energy Efficiency equipment that is not on the platform functions the same way, however, the modal inputs are slightly different as shown below:
To add new modules and inverters, send in a request to support@sighten.io with the equipment information and spec sheet.
