How do I generate a new MyProposal in the quote tool?

All accounts have the Sighten MyProposal template available to use by default. To start using MyProposal, a user with Organization Administrator permissions can create at least one copy of the Sighten Proposal template to use and/or customize.

To generate a new MyProposal in the quote tool, you will confirm you have the right MyProposal template selected and then generate the proposal.

You have the option to click Generate proposal if a MyProposal template is already your company's default proposal.

To check what template is selected by default or to select a new template, click View proposals. As long as this is a new proposal, you will have the option to click View proposals. If you have already created or downloaded a proposal, you cannot re-select a template and View Proposals will be greyed out. You will need to click + New Proposal and select quotes to add to create a new proposal.

After you click View proposal you will see a pop up where you can view the templates and select which one you want to create. Scroll to the right to find the desired MyProposal template. MyProposal templates appear in landscape format, making it possible to tell the difference between the new proposal and the standard PDF proposal templates. Select the proposal template you want to use by clicking on it and then click Save.

Back on the main quote page, click Generate proposal. The name of the template you selected will appear on the button, for example Generate Two Page Proposal.

The dropdown arrow on the right side of the Generate proposal button shows the other proposal options. The new proposal can be previewed in emailed, previewed web browser, or the link can be copied to be sent to the homeowner without using the automated email functionality.
