How does the eligibility modal work?
The eligibility modal is a bell icon that can be found on the right side of every job. This modal provides various useful details on product eligibility.
The number of products a job is eligible for. In the example below, the job is eligible to quote 9 products.
When is the eligibility modal updated?
The eligibility modal is updated each time a new update is made on phases that have a direct effect on product rules. This includes but is not limited to:
The address (which state is the address located)?
The Utility selected on the Usage phase, and
Several project details, such as project size and modules used,
Updates on qualification for integrated financing products also affect the financing products listed on the eligibility modal.
How do I check which products are eligible to quote for my project?
To check, you may simply click on the eligibility modal. Then a drawer will open, showing all products available to quote for an organization.
Eligible products are highlighted in green and placed on top of the list
Ineligible products are listed below in red, while all eligible products will be on the top, highlighted in green.
What rules are run, and when?
There are product rules that apply to the following phases:
Address - some product rules are based on the address and are automatically updated as soon as a new lead is created and an address is specified for a job.
Usage - some financing products can only be quoted for specified utility providers or utility escalation rate range.
Project - there are financing products that give system size, offset, and PV and module manufacturer requirements. Eligibility is updated once the Project is calculated.
Qualification - Property eligibility is determined when property pre-qual runs. Here, eligibility is updated when any change is made on the financier's end for the Qualification phase (for integrated financing products). Property eligibility is determined by the address. So they'll have to pass property qualification, because not every property is eligible.
How do I make a project eligible to quote a particular product?
ineligible products are listed with details on why the product can't be quoted based on product rules. This includes the phase where changes have to be made to be able to quote the product for the job, as well as a list of eligible values, if applicable.
Examples
On the screenshot below, you'll see an address that is ineligible to quote because the State it is in is ineligible to quote the product. The message would be: State Abbreviation is XX. Please change its value in the ADDRESS Phase to one of the eligible values to be able to quote this product.
You'll also see the message "This product is not available for new quotes" this applies to inactive products, but if you'd like to be certain, you may reach out to support@goeverbright.com for more details.
Below, you'll see that a project is ineligible to quote a PPA product because of several values that need to be changed on the Project and Usage phases (offset amount, utility provider, PV module model manufacturer, and inverter manufacturer). You'll also see the highlighted "See Eligible Values" clicking this will show a list of all eligible values for the financing product.
Project Qualification Result Status refers to the pre-qual results. You can see more details about this on the Qualification phase as well if the product is integrated. Otherwise, this would mean that the address is ineligible to quote it.
