How do I add spec sheets to a proposal?
You may want your proposals to include to all the specs of the equipment in the project without weighing down the proposal itself with lengthy spec sheets. You now have the ability to upload spec sheets in the project phase equipment settings and then when a proposal is generated with that equipment, you will have the option to preview and download the spec sheet from within the proposal!
Follow along below to see this in action:
Navigate to the Project Phase settings in your account.
Make sure the equipment you want to add a spec sheet for is in your account. How do I edit equipment settings?
Click the blue upload icon all the way on the right side of the actions. This opens an Upload a Spec Sheet modal.
Click the Upload Spec Sheet button and then select the file you want to upload.
Once you’ve successfully uploaded a spec sheet, the Save button will become active. Click Save.
You’ll get a success message! You now have a spec sheet associated with this piece of equipment!
Now, we will see what this looks like in a live proposal:
Make sure your proposal template has a dynamic data table covering the equipment you’re looking to include: solar table, battery table, ee table.
In this example, I added a spec sheet to the REC330NP solar modules, so I want to make sure my proposal has a dynamic Solar Table in it. Can I add data tables to the Proposal Template?archived
Design a project utilizing at least one piece of equipment with a spec sheet associated.
Here, I made a project with the REC330NP modules.
Create a quote and select it for your proposal.
Make sure you’ve selected the correct proposal template and generate the proposal. As you can see, the Your System page shows a solar table with a preview (magnifying glass) option and a download option.
