How to process solar equipment requests from a customer. Below are the different types of solar equipment requests and how they should be handled.

1. New Module and Inverter Requests

Requirements
- Is the equipment already in Sighten's database? You can look up modules and inverters in Sighten's database by logging into Django Admin and looking at Modules or Inverters. Instructions on how to login to Django here.
- If the equipment is new, do we have a spec sheet?
If the requirements have not been met:
- If the equipment is on the platform, please send more information on how to manage Equipment Setting. Article /wiki/spaces/SS/pages/1250987.
- If the equipment is not on the platform, but we do not have the spec sheet, please request a spec sheet and share /wiki/spaces/SS/pages/1251057 with them.
After verifying the requirements have been fulfilled, please create a CS ticket. Instructions on how to create the ticket here and instructions on the assignee here.
Place SS ticket in the Workflow status in "Needs Configuration".
Once the ticket is UAT (you can see ticket status under linked issues) communicate to the customer their request has been fulfilled and close the ticket.

2. New Storage, EE, Monitoring, Racking Requests

All other equipment types can be added manually by customers if they follow the instructions here:
