How to select and use EagleView imagery for RSD?
EverBright users have unlimited access to EagleView images.
To access images from EagleView for your projects in EverBright, read on through this article. We'll walk you through how you can make the most out of this feature.
Get started
To start, you can switch to EagleView by clicking on the dropdown that appears on the top left corner of the Project phase.
As you can see above, Google Maps is set as the default imagery provider for all jobs. Google Maps is free and available to all users.

When switching to EagleView imagery for the first time on a job, the latitude/longitude of an address is used to pull an image from EagleView. The images are in HD and can be fairly large so it may take 10-15 seconds for the image to populate the first time. The image will load faster on subsequent projects within the same job since it is already downloaded.
Here's how it will look while the HD imagery loads for a job. (Note that this is shown on the screen right after EagleView is selected on the dropdown):
While designing on EagleView imagery, all functionality from drawing arrays to generating shading data from Sunroof will operate as usual. Only the image is changed. Here's an example of a system designed on EagleView (note that this image makes use of the same address used in the screenshots provided above):
If you zoom out on the EagleView imagery, you may see a white overlay on the surrounding map. This is expected, as the EagleView content is overlaid on top of the map, and the intention is to clearly differentiate the EagleView imagery from the Google Maps imagery. Here's how it would look like:
