Background: Homeowner PPA Contracts will be revised to promote ACH Autopay adoption

Starting on August 27th 2024, PPA contracts will be revised to promote ACH Autopay adoption by offering homeowners a $15 USD Monthly Credit on their bill (As long as they are enrolled in ACH recurring payments)

FAQ:

Does the “Pay By Check” will still be available in the contract?

-No, the Pay by check election form will no longer be in the contract, leaving only the ACH sign up form

Is the Homeowner now required to pay by ACH?

-Homeowners are not required to pay by ACH, but they will need to acknowledge that they forego the $15 USD monthly discount if they choose not to use ACH automatic payments.

SOME ADDITIONAL CHANGES INCLUDED WITH THE NEW PPA AGREEMENT:

  • Clarification for the homeowner's options for transferring the system to a new homeowner if they sell their home.

  • What conditions will void EverBright’s Production Guarantee

  • EverBright can seek payment for lost revenue for early contract termination
