What does MyProposal look like and what is the homeowner experience?
For proposals containing solar or energy efficiency projects, you can select (and customize!) templates with storage and energy efficiency pages.
- Sighten storage page shows an explanation of how battery projects fit into the production and consumption patterns at the home. The battery equipment and count selected for the project are shown below. There is an example usage chart below.
- Sighten energy efficiency page shows the equipment type included, the overall usage reduction (kWh), and the usage offset (%).
What's included in savings?
Proposal values, like costs and savings, will reflect the whole project you have quoted and included. If you create a project with solar, storage, and energy efficiency all in the same project, you will quote those combined project costs and show the associated savings in the proposal. So show solar-only savings, create a project with just solar. Then, add a second project with solar plus storage or energy efficiency and create a second proposal to be able to compare the solar-only vs solar-plus-storage savings.
