Customer documents are often uploaded after an agreement has been signed based on the document tasks for that job. But if needed, a user can also upload customer documents before an agreement is signed.

This can be done through the Documents modal that is found on the right side of every job.

Once you click it, you'll see an Upload button.

Then, the document uploaded will be shown with the details: Name (filename) and Date Uploaded.

Once documents are uploaded, they can be downloaded. For example, an ops coordinator may want to download a utility bill that was uploaded pre-sale and add it to a utility bill task in the project workflow. To download, simply click on the options icon (3 vertically-aligned dots) on the right side of the document and choose Download).

What types of documents can be uploaded?

Any document type can be uploaded and saved using this feature: PDF, image, Excel, etc. There are no file type restrictions.

How many documents can I upload?

You can add more documents by simply clicking the Upload button. There is no limit to the number of documents that you can upload.

You can add multiple sales documents. Kindly note that the Name of the document that would be displayed on the modal is the filename of the document uploaded. We suggest using helpful and easy-to-understand filenames, and even the using codes to categorize these so it can be easily used by other users who have access to the job.

The Documents modal can be accessed on any phased of an open job.
