How do I change credit status and approval amounts?
Depending on the products offered, users with Qualification Manager permissions have the ability to update the credit status, approval amount, and expiration date of a credit decision. This role is heavily restricted and usually only available to a few users. Additionally, financiers can also limit who can edit credit decisions.
To make these changes, go to the qualification page and click the edit button next to the product you would like to update.
The Credit status, Expiration Date, Amount Approved, and External ID fields for this demo product can now be edited. Click the dropdown arrow next to the credit status to select a different status.
The Credit status options in the dropdown are:
Select the desired Credit status.
For Some organizations, the External ID is used for specific purposes such as inputting a credit decision ID. For other organizations, it can be used to label credit applications with an external identifier. The Expiration Date and External ID fields can be left blank.
After entering any changes, click the Save button.
The Credit status, Amount Approved, and Expiration Date have been successfully updated!
Contract generation based upon credit decision
Many financiers on the Sighten platform require credit approval prior to contract generation. For these financing products, once credit has been approved pertinent information from the credit approval will auto-populate when generating a new contract.
