How to handle contract signs/re-signs due to pricing update
This SOP is only to be used under very specific circumstances and will need leadership authorization in order to proceed. EB does not reinstate pricing for general circumstances such as cancelling the wrong workflow.
Background: Due to rising interest rates, EverBright is periodically changing the pricing of our products. These changes affect all active pricing, which can cause issues if a contract resign is needed because the new pricing will be assigned to the contract.
This means for re-signs, the partner must accept new pricing or coordinate with the development team to change pricing back momentarily and generate the contract and then we change it back.
This is a manual effort
Important Note: This process is related to individual contracts/jobs related to global pricing changes. This is NOT about pricing updates for installers - that process is here: Processing installer "EverBright - Pricing Update" tickets
How to handle contract signs/ resigns due to pricing update situations:
Installer contacts support and requests that the old pricing be reverted for a homeowner that needs to resign a contract.
Approval will need to come from Deal Processing and Finance prior to allowing contract resigns using old pricing as this would be a special circumstance
Request approval by CC’ing Laura Miller and Kristi Traugh in the ticket
Create a linked ticket using ‘this issue blocks’ from the dropdown list:
Type - APP
Title - Restore Old Pricing for Quote [#] - [Customer Name]
Assignee - Samantha Lieberman
Update the description - Create a new quote and workflow for [customer name] using the same pricing as the original signed contract
Include the following information in an internal comment in the linked ticket:
Customer Name and Address
Link to the project
Quote number to be used to model the old pricing
Organization
Dev changes pricing generates a new quote with exact pricing from the original quote, and generates a new contract
Support notifies installer of the new contract and then closes the SS ticket
