We receive requests for an alternative map imagery to be utilized on the Project phase. Here's an update on an exciting new feature that you can expect for Q3.

Where do we get satellite imagery available on Sighten?

At the moment, Google Maps is our only imagery provider.  At times, what is displayed in Sighten may vary from what Google displays in their own Google Maps service. This is a result of Google Maps rendering map content from a number of sources, including some that are licensed from other partners.  Due to licensing agreements, there are limitations to what Google can re-distribute via the API, and thus Sighten is restricted to using only Google-own imagery.

Is it possible to upload my own roof image or use another map source?

It is not currently possible to upload your own image.

EagleView - New Imagery Provider

Sighten is now working with EagleView to provide a better imagery option for users!  You can learn more about Eagleview here.
