Background: As part of an ongoing improvement to track the status of Authoritative Copy acknowledgments, we are introducing a new update in Salesforce. This update includes a new tracking field and a banner that will appear on contracts when the Authoritative Copy confirmation is missing

Starting January 22, 2025, a new tracking field will be added to Salesforce to monitor the status of Authoritative Copy acknowledgments. This will help agents and internal teams easily identify if the acknowledgment has been completed or if any action is still required.

The new field will have three possible statuses:

Amend & Restate

  • Indicates the contract needs to be amended and re-signed

Collected

  • Means the Authoritative Copy acknowledgment has been successfully collected

Missing

  • This status will be displayed when the Authoritative Copy acknowledgment has not been completed. This is the status that will trigger the banner

When the Missing status is present, a banner will appear on the contract record in Salesforce. This banner serves as a reminder that the Authoritative Copy acknowledgment is still needed from the homeowner.

  • The banner will be Red and and will contain a Blue link to the internal Confluence article that provides more details on how to handle this situation.

Once the update goes live on January 22, 2025, Salesforce will automatically begin displaying the new field and the banner where necessary.
