Enhancements

  • Increased system size limit: there's no more limit on the number of panels that can be added to a single array. The previous limit of 500 panels per array was removed.
  • Easier comparison across products for APR & rate escalator: depending on the product being quoted, APR and Rate Escalator will now appear as "N/A" in the quote table when they are not applicable. This allows for clearer comparison across product types when quoting a combination of loans, PPAs, and leases.
  • Better reporting: multiple enhancements have been made to reporting. You can get a refresher on the reporting capabilities in our reporting video.
    • Reporting performance improvements have been made to speed up the time it takes to generate a report.
    • Reporting UI/UX improvements have been made that include better report defaults and easier steps to new report creation.
    • Reporting customization: Sighten's support team now has the ability to make changes to the fields and columns used in reports. You can contact support@sighten.io with requests for your company's account.
  • PriceCheck rule evaluation: when quotes created using PriceCheck hit a product rule violation, a modal will appear indicating why the quote cannot be created.
  • Simpler "Send for Approval" submission to financing: when milestones are sent for approval to a financing company, users will no longer have to select an email in order to send. The operations email for the company responsible for improvements will be used by default. This only affects milestones requiring approval by a financier ("dual approval" milestones).
  • Smarter production values for optimizers & microinverters: production calculation enhancements have been launched for string inverters working with optimizers in accordance with the latest manufacturer and NREL recommendations. Users should see an increase in production estimates when using this equipment in cases of partial shading. You can find more details on Sighten's production modeling engine - including our methodology for microinverters and optimizers - in this knowledge base article.
  • Cost adder permissions: users with Sales Representative permissions are now unblocked from adding line items to cost buildup. Cost buildup is accessed by clicking "Add Costs" on the quote page install cost. Learn more about how to create a quote using cost buildup in our support article.
  • Usage entry model: small UI/UX improvements have been made to the usage entry modal. Input fields and function remains the same.
