In-Proposal Design – Permissions

What is displayed by default?

Everyone that interacts with an EverBright proposal is able to see the view-only version of the project phase. This view-only version enables a closer view of the design.

How do I enable editing?

Editing can be turned on by organization in Settings. Navigate to Settings > Proposal Settings > Details tab

By default, the project editing setting will be off. To turn it on, select the ‘Edit’ button and choose to turn on Project Editing.

Select ‘Save’ to enable.

With editing turned on, who can edit the project in the proposal?

Users that have access to edit the proposal will have access to edit the project in the proposal. They will need to have the below scenarios met to be able to edit:

  1. There must not be a signed contract associated with the project. No users can edit the project in the proposal after the contract is signed.

  2. The user must have permission to the Proposal Phase. In Settings > Organization Settings, the user must be on a Team that has the Proposal Phase active

    1. If they have Edit Access, then they will be able to edit projects for sites where they are assigned to the proposal phase.

    2. If they have Manager Access, then they will be able to edit projects for all sites within that organization
