Logging in to Salesforce - CXone users initial access

Background:

Single sign on (SSO) is enabled for Salesforce users. The first time a CXone user logs into Salesforce, they will need to add the CXone extension, enable the click to dial feature, and set up their softphone.

  • Log in via SSO by using the ‘Log in with EverBright Login’

  • When logged in using SSO, the user’s name will be displayed under the account icon in the top right corner of the Salesforce service console.

  • In Salesforce click the waffle menu and select ‘Service Console’

  • Access the CXone agent softphone by clicking the phone icon at the bottom of the screen (1) and logging in (2):

  • Select integrated softphone (1) and connect (2)

  • From the softphone, click the settings icon (1) and update Audio Visual Settings (2).

  • Enable alerts and click Save

Select Settings (1) and integrated softphone settings (2)

  • Set the default ringtone (1)

  • Set any secondary ringers (2). Secondary ringers will allow notifications through a secondary source such as your laptop

  • Click Save (3)
