How to Test EverBright Contracts on Onboard
EverBright requires that qualification is approved and there are legal contacts and legal addresses filled out so you can generate documents for testing. All of the steps below require that you are logged in on Onboard in your organization as a user (with an HIS # if in California, Connecticut, or Maryland), unless otherwise specified.
When you are told that your new, or modified, contract is available for testing on Onboard, please follow the steps below to test that document.
Prior to Starting a Test
Login to your organization in the Onboard environment (onboard.goeverbright.com), using the same email/password that you use to login to engine.goeverbright.com.
Be certain that the user that creates the test job, the Authorized Signer, and other organization users that will populate the document have access to their email addresses
Create a New Lead (Job) in the Target Market
Click on the New Lead button
Enter a suitable, residential, address in the market that is intended for the document
Address for Ernesto Baez:
81 Robbins Rd, Watertown, MA 02472
Move to the Contact Phase
For the 1st Contact, enter the following information:
Ernesto
Baez
email address (yours, if you want to run through the DocuSign process)
8774652496 (the phone # has to be real - this one is EverBright Customer Support)
Unless you want to test the document population with 2 homeowners, you may skip the second contact
For a second contact, click the “New Contact” button, and complete the fields again
Move to the Quote Phase to Create a Quote
In the Quote Phase, create a quote suitable for the document you are testing
Use the Pre-Qual process to apply for credit approval
Go to the Qualification Phase
Click on the Actions button
Click on Run Pre-Qual
Click In Person, then Submit
Complete the Income, Date of Birth, and Social Security Number fields.
$60,000 (suggested value - be sure the applicant can afford the job)
Mar 29, 1960 (suggested value - applicant must be an adult)
666-68-3425 (required value)
In the Acknowledgements section at the bottom, click the following links:
eSign Consent (unviewed)
Credit Consent Acknowledgement (unviewed)
Then click the checkboxes in front of them and the checkbox in front of:
“By submitting this application, I (we) acknowledge that the provided required notices have been reviewed and am (are) consenting to move forward with the application.”
Click the “Yes, Authorize Credit Check” button to initiate the credit check, and close that tab
Finally, click the browser’s refresh button to display the results of the credit check
For Ernesto Baez, this will result in green checkmarks for credit for all eligible EverBright products
If you get an error for title (because the title check even on a test environment is “real”), you need to cancel, pick a different address in the address phase and then rerun credit the same way
Move to the Contract Phase to Create the Document Package
In the Contract Phase, click the + Add Quote button, and select the quote you just created
Check that the users and email addresses used are all a part of your organization, then click the Send E-Sign button
The document package will be sent to each email address in turn for signatures
Click the browser’s refresh button to see the latest DocuSign status
It may take a few minutes for the EverBright platform to update the DocuSign status
When everything is signed, the M1 Milepost in the Operations Phase will show each document in the package.
This is evidence of a successful contract test
