  • The AI Optimization or Savings profile may be suitable

  • The Self Consumption profile could be the best

AI Optimization:

  • Maximizes savings by forecasting energy usage and production

    • NOTE: The AI Optimization profile is in Beta and only available to system owners in certain regions, such as California (USA), Belgium, Germany, and Netherlands. Differing import and export rules may apply to each region. More regions will be added soon.

Self Consumption:

  • Prioritize solar energy usage and reduces reliance on the grid

Savings:

  • Reduces electricity bills by using stored energy during peak hours

Full Backup:

  • Keeps batteries charged for emergencies, using solar Power first

  • Compare the customer’s current profile with their stated energy goals.

 

  • Ask questions to confirm if their needs align with the selected profile

  • If the current profile does not align with their goals, guide the customer on how to change it

  1. Tap “Edit” Next to the system profile

  1. Tap “Apply” to save the changes

  • For additional guidance within the Enphase App you can also redirect the customer to contact the manufacturer

For Manual Control:

  1. Tap Battery Mode > Manual Control

  2. Set Specific Charging and Discharging Schedules

 

For Backup Only:

  1. Tap Battery Mode > Backup Only

  2. Confirm the selection
