Testing in Onboard

Background: Onboard is a test environment that allows installers to test document changes without sending it to customers. It has the same login credentials as their "live" account.

Ā

To test their document, they must follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to EverBright

  2. Use your regular EverBright login email and password to log in (remember password is case-sensitive)

  3. Create a new job that matches the criteria of the document youā€™re testing (i.e. if you need to test a storage project, make a job with storage)

  4. If you set up the ā€œtest clientā€ with an email address you can access, then the document will come to you both as contractor & client. You will then be able to download the completed document with the DocuSign certificate.

  5. Create a quote for that project.

  6. In order to generate a contract for the project, Qualification needs to be run. The following information can be used to generate a dummy qual:

    1. Customer name - Steven Gomez

    2. SSN- 666-36-9679

    3. Enter an income that is sufficient for the customer to afford the job.

    4. Use a DOB that makes the customer over 18.

  7. Generate a contract on the new quote.

Ā

Please note:

  • To fully test your project, you must create test jobs that cover every item (old/new/changed) in your project. Otherwise, you may not find the error until it goes to your client.

  • Your project will be available to test until Onboard is updated.
