Updating an Org's Legal Information

Background:

Compliance requires that the Organization’s information in the platform matches the legal information on the MISA. Development has implemented changes to the platform which block users from changing certain information of an organization.

The update blocks the ability to make changes to:

  • org name

  • org address

  • licenses (can add, cannot edit)

  • legal name

  • legal address

Editing is still allowed for the following:

  • website

  • email

  • phone number

Updates to an Org’s Legal information

If an organization needs to update their legal information in the platform, an Org Admin will need to submit a request.

Navigate to the User Settings and click on the Account Updates tab.

 

Select the ‘Organizational Information’ form. Submit this form to request updates to the Organization’s legal name, address, and licenses. Once the request has been verified, the account information will be updated.

When a request is submitted compliance will receive an automated email with the JotForm. Compliance will review the request and approve, deny, or ask for additional documentation.

Support Process

Organizational Information form will be sent to Support

  • The ticket will come in from Risk Management and/or Compliance

  • The ticket will include the JotForm and either an approval, denial, or request for additional documentation

 

If the request is approved

Update the SS ticket

  • Update the reporter to the Org Admin, from the form

  • Update the Org

  • Request Type: Account Update

  • Use the Needs Configuration? Automation dropdown to select Task

Update the CS ticket

Changes are configured

  • When complete - the config team closes the CS ticket

Reply to the customer and close the ticket

  • Send a “reply to customer”

Hello,

Your request to update [enter information from the request] is complete.

Regards,

Close the ticket

If the request is denied

Update the SS ticket

  • Update the reporter to the Org Admin, from the form

  • Update the Org

  • Request Type: Account Update

Reply to the customer:

Hello,

We received your request to update [request from the form]. We are unable to process this request due to [denial reason sent from compliance].

Regards,

Close the ticket

If Compliance requests additional documentation

Update the SS ticket

  • Update the reporter to the Org Admin, from the form

  • Update the Org

  • Request Type: Account Update

Reply to the customer

Hello,

We received your request to update [request from the form]. In order to complete your request, please reply to this email and attach [docs requested from compliance].

Regards,

Once requested documentation is received

Once the required documents have been received, send an email to DL-Everbright-Compliance@nexteraenergy.com and attach the documents and a link to the Jira ticket:

Hello,

[Org] replied with requested documents. Please review and respond with an approval or denial for the request.

If Compliance approves the request or denies the request refer the appropriate scenario above to complete and then close the ticket
