Pre PTO - ACH Capture

Background: In the past, homeowners could only enter their ACH information through the DocuSign contract. However, this method of capture did not include a bank account validation process, which created limitations and risks in accurately and securely collecting ACH data.

Additionally, this approach did not provide a sustainable way to gather ACH information from homeowners once the contract had been signed and completed in M3.


IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Please be aware that there is currently a bug in DocuSign affecting homeowners when completing the ACH form in MyEverBright. Specifically, the radio button selection for "Checking" or "Savings" does not save when attempting to submit the form.

  • Homeowners will need to re-select the option before they can successfully submit the form.

    • DocuSign has confirmed that this issue will be fixed by February 13th, 2025

To Address this Issue, we are introducing a Post-Contract Bank Account Validator, Allowing Homeowners to enter their ACH Information directly into the Homeowner Portal (HOP) system.

This change will not only streamline the validation of bank accounts, but also enhance the security and accuracy of capturing payment details

Homeowners are not required to pay via ACH; they have the flexibility to choose their payment method. However, by opting for ACH automatic payments, they can enjoy multiple benefits. We encourage you to take advantage of this option and make your payments even more convenient!

  • When a Homeowner contacts Customer Service regarding pre PTO ACH Enrollment, check their ACH status in the system

If Enrolled:

  • Acknowledge this and let them know they are already receiving the benefits of ACH

  • IF Eligible for Discount:

    • Save on your monthly bill:

      • Get a $15 USD discount on your bill.

  • Convenient payments: Set it and forget it—payments are automatically deducted.

  • Secure and easy: The process is straightforward, and your bank account information is securely captured.

If NOT Enrolled:

  • Explain to the homeowner the benefits of enrolling in ACH

  • IF Eligible for Discount:

    • Save on your monthly bill:

      • Get a $15 USD discount on your bill.

  • Convenient payments: Set it and forget it—payments are automatically deducted.

  • Secure and easy: The process is straightforward, and your bank account information is securely captured.

  • Offer assistance in guiding them through the enrollment process if they are interested

  • Homeowners who did not sign up for ACH at contract signing will see a banner in My Everbright depending on the homeowner’s discount Eligibility

  • When the Homeowner clicks on “Click here to get started” a new window will appear based on discount Eligibility

  • Then they just need to click on “Set up Autopay

  • After selecting “Set up Autopay” a Terms & Conditions window will appear

    • If they click on “Decline” they go back to the previous screen

    • If they Click on “Accept” they will see the form to start the enrollment

  • Next step will be to complete the ACH Enrollment Form

    • Once the homeowner has entered all of the required fields they can click on “Finish

    • The form fields require entries that reflect the expected number of digits for valid Account and Routing Numbers:

  • Once the form is completed they just need to click on “Start signing

  • Finally; A Success Confirmation will appear letting you know that you have successfully enrolled in Autopy
