Channel Partners and Site Ownership
Background:
The customer contacts support and states that their sales rep isn’t showing up as the sales rep signer instead it’s showing up as a user from an upstream channel partner even though their sales rep has access to the contract phase. When the user is trying to change the signer, the only users that are showing up from the dropdown are from the upstream channel partner.
In the example below, the sales rep is incorrectly populating on Jeremy Farley, the sales rep for Infinity Energy (upstream partner):
From the toolbar, select the ‘Manage Ownership’ icon:
Select ‘Site (i.e. Job Transfer)’ and set the Site Organization Owner to the correct Org:
Once changed, the user can be updated to the correct salesperson:
From there, generate a new contract and the updated salesperson will populate:
