Exclusive Partnerships and Phase Access

Background:

If a user indicates that they are logged in and unable to modify certain phases of the platform, they may not have permission to edit that phase. In exclusive channel partnerships, the channel manager has the ability to control what phases the downstream partner can access and/or edit.

Process:

• Log in as the Org and locate the project

• Click on the ‘Manage Ownership’ icon

• In this example, Infinity Energy, Inc. owns the Project and it is not editable:

• Infinity also owns the Project Phase:

   

• Navigate to User Settings > Organization Settings > Partnership Tab:

   

• This Org has an upstream partnership with Infinity Energy, Inc. When Infinity owns the project in this case, users in the downstream Org will only have access to view the Project phase
