Daily Rules/Weekly Rules
Steps on how to create daily/weekly rules in Workforce Management (WFM).
Daily Rules
Open the WFM application.
Under Setup, click Daily Rules (1). Existing Daily Rules (2). Creating a new Daily Rule (3).
Name the Daily Rule (1). Use the drop-down to select the shift type (2). Select the Shift length (3). Select the shift starts between (4). Select your Start time increment (5). Select New Rule Activity to add breaks and lunches (6). Use the drop-down menu to select your activity code. This will be where you select break or lunch (7). Select the length of the Activity Code (8). Use the drop-down to select your relative start time, this will be when you would like the Activity Code to start (9). Drop down for Slack is the time you would like to give that activity code slack into the timing of scheduling that activity code (10). Select Save once completed (11).
Weekly Rules
Under Setup, click Weekly Rules (1). Existing Weekly Rules (2). Creating a new Weekly Rule (3).
Name they Weekly Rule (1). Select the total number of days for this Weekly Rule (2). Select the number of hours between shifts (3). Check the box if you would like consecutive days off (4). Check the box if you would like consecutive start times (5). Check the box if you would like consistent breaks and lunches (6). Select the Daily Rules you would like for this Weekly Rule (7). Name, Length and Shift Start Time will auto-populate once you select your daily rule (8). Select the Possible days for the daily rules (9). Select the total number of days for this daily rule (10). Click the Employee tab (11).
Add the agent you would like on this Weekly Rule (1).
Click Save to save the Weekly Rules (2).
