Transferring ownership of a project within channel partners

Details: Installer needs to transfer a project that was created under the wrong organization. This can be done if the organization is an upstream/downstream partner.

Note: The org admins of the companies have the ability to transfer ownership of projects. However, if the org admin is not able to do it, support can step in and do it on their behalf. Please make sure to gather the name, email and phone number of the org admin requesting the transfer. This is for document purposes.

  1. Log into EverBright

  2. Log In As <organization that the project is currently found in>
    User: EverBright Admin

  3. Once you find the job, click Ownership

  4. Within the Manage Ownership page, select Site (i.e. Job Transfer)

  5. Click the drop-down list under Site Organization Owner

  6. Now select the Organization Owner (this is the channel manager)

  7. Hit Save

  8. Return to User within EverBright

  9. Log In As <organization that is the channel manager which you selected as Organization Owner>
    User: EverBright Admin

  10. Once you locate the project, click Ownership

  11. Within the Manage Ownership page, select Site (i.e. Job Transfer)

  12. Click the drop-down list under Site Organization Owner

  13. Now select the Organization Owner (this is the channel partner it needs to go to)
