Transferring a Credit Qualification to a Different Org

Background

There may be instances where a homeowner either wishes to work with a different installer or a salesperson accidentally creates a job under the wrong organization. Under the following circumstances, the homeowner will not need to resubmit the credit application.

Scenario 1

  • If the current Org and the new Org are Channel Partners, the ownership can be transferred up to the channel manager and then back down to the partner. An Org Admin will need to make the change. Example:

 

  • Org Setup

  • And the job was created in Partner 1 but they want it in Partner 2, the process would be to change org ownership from Partner 1 to Channel Manager and then as the Channel Manager change it to Partner 2. This will maintain the credit decision, but any quotes created with Partner 1's products won't be visible to Partner 2

Scenario 2

  • If both Orgs are EverBright partners, the credit qualification will be able to be transferred. To do this, the workflow will need to be cancelled and then recreated under the new Org. This credit decision will automatically populate in the Qual phase of the new workflow.

  • If a request comes in to transfer a job from one Org to another and the Orgs are not channel partners, EB will require written permission from the homeowner in order to complete the request

  • If pricing has changed since the original contract was signed, the homeowner would have to re-sign under current pricing.
