How to Revert a Project (Engine)

Background: There may be occasions when a sales representative or installer modifies a project during the project phase and needs to revert to the original version. This could occur due to an unintentional change or when a system details update is required, even if “there have been no changes since the initial quote”.

This SOP offers guidance on effectively troubleshooting and restoring the original version.

Do NOT make any change on behalf of the Sales Rep/Installer unless you confirm they have access to this specific project phase

  • Open the corresponding Job in Engine and Go to the “Project Phase”

  • Make sure that the “Live Project” is selected from the Upper Drop Down Menu

  • Click over the 3 dots next to the Project

  • Then click on “Revert”

  • Finally Click on “Revert Project”

 

 

Once Reverted the project will go back to the original or previous status and the current project will be overwritten
