Qualification initiated - but nothing is happening

Details: Within the Qualification Phase the word “initiated” will come up after taking an action. The problem is installers believe that the word/term is an indication that it is in progress, or the credit of the applicant has been run, but really nothing is moving forward until the Soft Inquiry Credit Application is completed and submitted.

  1. From within the Qualification phase, draw your attention to the right side where it reads Activity. As the installer proceeds within the phase, this area will log activity.

2. In the top middle click the Actions button click Run Pre-Qual.

3. Once you click Run Pre-Qual, a pop-up window will come up that reads Run credit for EverBright Qualification. Select Email or In Person, then click Submit.

4. The browser will open a new tab and take you to Soft Inquiry Credit Application. Do not complete the application yet.

5. Go back to EverBright platform Qualification phase and look at the Activity.

a. You will see that there are activities being logged (see example below).

b. Thee word initiated does not mean that the platform is in progress or that the credit was run for the applicant.

c. The applicant(s) credit will be run only after the Soft Inquiry Credit Application has been completed and Yes, Authorize Credit Check is clicked.

6. Once you have seen the activity, go back to the Soft Inquiry Credit Application & complete the following:

  • All required fields with asterisk

  • View and place check in box of eSign Consent

  • View and place check in box of Credit Consent Acknowledgement

  • Once the above is done, the Yes, Authorize Credit Check will be available to click

  • Once the Yes, Authorize Credit Check button is clicked, this will run the credit for the applicant

7. Go back to the EverBright platform and look at Activity. This will show the activities that have taken place.
